dc.description.abstractThe Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the normal way of life of people around the world. Almost all the sectors moved to online platform while the Covid-19 pandemic such as shopping, teaching, learning and etc. Around the world, educational institutions are using online learning sites to continue the process of education. Meanwhile the demand for online learning has increased significantly in recent years and will continue to do so in the future. In this regard, this study is conducted with a focus on University of Vocational Technology, Sri Lanka to identify the students' perceptions of online learning activities during Covid-19 pandemic and to identify the challenges faced by students through online learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. An exploratory survey design was utilized for this study. This study was conducted using qualitative and quantitative methods. Primary data collection in this study was carried out by distributing questionnaires among 169 students. Collected primary data was analyzed through the Microsoft Excel and presented through the tables. Secondary data was collected from journals, research papers, articles, website information and thesis. According to results and discussion part, it can be concluded that the online learning process conducted during the Covid-19 pandemic is more effective.en_US
