Thus, by means of court institution, the justice dispensed in Islamic history. The main purpose of this study is to examine the court structure and its operations evolved from the formative Islamic period. This research uses qualitative method that is based on extensive review and analysis of literature on dispensing justice in Islam. This paper present the main finding that justice achieved with well-organized court system in Islam. This research can be basis for the effectiveness of today Qadi court structure or its reconstruction.
